Tempa was founded in London by Danial Barkhordar. The thesis is simple: commercial refrigeration is the UK’s largest untapped flexible load, and the way to reach it is through the compliance monitoring that every fridge owner already needs.
Where we are
Pilot stage. The platform — decoders, ingest, an append-only record, alerts and escalation, reports, energy analytics and the outage board — runs end to end on simulated estates, and the first real sites are being fitted. We have no customers to name yet and we will not invent any.
What we believe
- Every number on this site is either a sourced fact or a labelled estimate.
- The record must be append-only, UK-hosted and yours.
- A quiet sensor on a cold asset is a failed sensor until proven otherwise.
- Safety rules are written before control code.
Hardware partners
We resell Dragino LoRaWAN devices as pre-provisioned kits, with Milesight as a second source. We are not affiliated with either manufacturer.
