Continuous logging for fridges, freezers, cold rooms, blast chillers and vaccine fridges. Alerts that escalate until someone acts. A record that stands up to an EHO, CQC or MHRA inspection.
HACCP logs that write themselves.
Twice-daily manual checks miss the overnight failure and the door left ajar at the end of service. Tempa records every ten to twenty minutes, flags excursions after they persist long enough to be real (not every defrost cycle), and produces the daily and weekly HACCP records with a sign-off line.
- · Fridge 1–5 °C, freezer ≤ −18 °C, cold room 1–4 °C templates with the UK 8 °C legal limit as a critical rule
- · Door-open alerts; silent-sensor alerts treated as critical on cold assets
- · Corrective actions captured on acknowledgement and printed in the deviation log
- · CSV export of any range; PDF with a SHA-256 fingerprint
2–8 °C, continuously, with the trail.
The Green Book expects vaccines held between +2 and +8 °C with records kept. Tempa holds the full history, alerts within minutes of an excursion, escalates by SMS and voice call when nobody acknowledges, and keeps who-did-what in an append-only audit log.
- · Vaccine-fridge template: outside 2–8 °C for 15 minutes is critical
- · Calibration certificates attached to the measuring point and referenced by every reading
- · Monthly compliance summary per site
- · Readings stored on the sensor and recovered after an internet outage, at their original time

What is in the Cold Chain Starter kit
Probe sensors
A sealed probe in the cabinet, the radio unit outside it. Built-in room temperature and humidity as a bonus. Multi-year battery.
Door sensor
Weatherproof magnetic contact rated for chiller and freezer doors. Open count and duration feed the energy insights too.
Gateway
One small indoor gateway per building, on Ethernet or Wi-Fi with a 4G option. No access to your network beyond a single outbound connection.
