Shield · estates and the public sector

Know which critical loads are protected, which are not, and how long the rest have.

NHS estates, councils, housing associations and facilities teams run hundreds of small sites with fridges, cold rooms, backup power and buildings that need watching. Tempa gives one view of all of it, and an outage board when the power goes.

Resilience intelligence

A thermal model for every cold asset. A map of what protects it.

Protected load map

Every cold asset shown with the circuit and backup asset that feeds it — UPS, generator, transfer switch — or marked unprotected. Live mains, UPS and generator state where telemetry exists.

Outage board

When clamps read zero, sensors go quiet together, or someone declares an outage: assets ranked by estimated minutes to excursion, value at risk, and a plain action list. Every outage becomes an incident with a timeline and a post-incident report.

Resilience register

Backup assets, last test and result, battery health, statutory test due dates with alerts when overdue, manual test logging with evidence, and a monthly resilience evidence pack per site.

This maps to the challenge statements NHS England and Centrica set out in the Energy Systems Catapult Energy Resilience Accelerator: knowing, site by site, what is protected and for how long.

Live product

The outage board, on simulated data.

The demo estate includes a scripted power cut at the kitchen site. Time-to-excursion figures are modelled estimates from each cabinet’s fitted thermal time constant and ambient, shown with their confidence.

Estate monitoring

Damp, air, leaks and energy across many small sites.

Damp and mould

Room temperature and relative humidity in homes and classrooms; sustained RH above 70 % raises an alert. Continuous evidence for Awaab’s Law duties rather than a snapshot visit.

CO₂ and air quality

Ventilation in waiting rooms, classrooms and offices; alerts above 1,500 ppm.

Water leaks and levels

Leak sensors in plant rooms and under tanks; level sensing for tanks and flood-prone basements.

Energy sub-metering

Current clamps and kWh meters on the circuits that matter, with cost at your tariff and a monthly report.
